How did each Candidate respond?
Each candidate has an individual page on this website to publish their profile, and also their responses to a series of questions we have sent on behalf of the community.
In the current environment, as it may be difficult for candidates to connect with voters in traditional ways, BCRRA chose this way of assisting the community to make their choices for the next Council.
Community questions were gathered via an online survey, which closed on August 20th 2020. These have been added to questions compiled by the committee in line with BCRRA’s aim (to raise the standard of accountability, transparency, community engagement, and fiscal discipline at Bass Coast Shire Council).
All questions were reviewed at a virtual public meeting in August with a number of community members sharing their opinions with committee members.
